~"All dogs are pets.  Labradors are family!"~

We currently have an older Black female available!  Please check out the Available page for more details.  We currently have no puppies available.  However, we may be planning a litter for Summer 2020.  Keep checking the Litters page for more details soon!

We are a small, quality hobby kennel of Labrador Retrievers located in southeastern North Dakota. We only keep a select few dogs at a time to train, show, and trial. All of them live in our home and are first, and foremost, members of our family.  We feel quality is much more important than quantity and, therefore, only breed a litter when we're ready for another puppy to show & continue our lines- usually no more than once a year or two.

We strongly believe in an all-purpose Labrador Retriever- one that remains correct to the truest intent of the breed's history & standard.  For this reason, we strive to produce an all purpose Labrador Retriever; one who is not only physically beautiful, but also has the wonderful temperament and versatility that makes the Labrador the breed we all so love.  Our goal is to produce Labradors who can not only meet the breed standard, but are also performance dogs (Hunting, Obedience, Rally, Agility, etc), therapy dogs, assistance dogs, and family dogs alike.  We have found that the Bench or Conformation style of Labrador most appropriately meets these goals.

We actively compete in AKC & UKC sanctioned Conformation & Performance events (i.e. Obedience, Rally, Agility, Hunt Tests, etc), are founding members of both the Midwest Labrador Retriever Club of Iowa & North Star Labrador Retriever Club of Minnesota, and are members of the Fargo-Moorhead Kennel Club.

All of our breeding stock will be (when age appropriate), at minimum, AKC registered, OFA certified for Hips, Elbows, & Cardiac, ACVO examined yearly against PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy) and other eye disorders, as well as tested (or cleared by parentage/pedigree) for prcd-PRA, EIC (Exercise Induced Collapse), and CNM (Centronuclear Myopathy). Additional tests and clearances may include but are not limited to testing for color genetic purposes. We also strongly believe in competing in both Conformation & Performance because Labradors should be strong in both body & mind and possess the work ethic the breed is noted for. Therefore, all of our breeding stock will either hold or be working on Performance titles or certifications as well.

We breed, first and foremost, for the betterment & preservation of our breed as well as to improve & continue our personal breeding program.  Because of this, we reserve the right to keep any puppy or puppies we choose.  Although each & every puppy we whelp takes a piece of our hearts and we would love to keep them all, we simply cannot.  Therefore, any companion puppies we may have (puppies who are not suitable for our breeding program) are placed into select, loving homes with AKC Limited Registration and a spay/neuter clause.  We reserve the right to refuse placement of a puppy with any individual(s) for any reason and at any time.   The well being & best interests of our puppies always comes first.  If you are interested in welcoming one of our puppies into your home, please copy, paste, and fill out our application.  In addition, we are happy to consider families who live outside the area.  Per USDA regulations, we do not ship puppies.  However, we will gladly assist with travel arrangements.
