We are a small, quality hobby breeder of Labrador Retrievers located just southwest of the Fargo-Moorhead metro. We only keep a select few dogs at a time to train, show, and trial. All of them live in our home and are first, and foremost, members of our family. We feel quality is much more important than quantity and, therefore, only breed a litter when we're ready for another puppy to show & continue on our lines- likely only one litter every 2 or 3 years.
We strongly believe in a temperamentally & structurally sound, all-purpose Labrador Retriever- one that remains correct to the truest intent of the breed's history & standard. We have found that the Conformation or "English" style of Labrador most appropriately meets these goals.
We actively compete in AKC & UKC sanctioned Conformation & Performance events and are founding members of the Midwest Labrador Retriever Club & North Star Labrador Retriever Club. We are very proud to have two UKC Champions, Piper & Faith. Both girls are also pointed toward their AKC Championships (Faith is one of only a handful of Chocolate Bitches in the history of the breed to earn a coveted 5 point Major win), hold performance title(s), and have Specialty & Specialty Supported class wins to their credits. We also are pleased to have two girls, Mocha & Paige, out of Piper's first litter here with us as well. They are following in their dam and aunt's footsteps and we're very excited to see what the future holds for them!
All of our breeding stock will be (when age appropriate), at minimum, AKC registered, OFA certified for Hips, Elbows, & Cardiac, ACVO examined yearly against PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy) and other eye disorders, as well as tested for CNM (Centronuclear Myopathy) and EIC (Exercise Induced Collapse). Additional tests and clearances may include but are not limited to prcd-PRA (genetic) and/or testing for color genetic purposes. We also strongly believe in competing in both Conformation & Performance because Labradors should be strong in both body & mind. Therefore, all of our breeding stock will either hold or be working on Performance titles & certifications as well.
From time to time, we may have puppies, older puppies and/or dogs available. All of our companion puppies will be sold with AKC Limited Registration to select, loving homes. If you are interested in welcoming one of our puppies into your home, please copy, paste, and fill out our application.
